Our Team

Marc Evers

Marc works as an independent coach, trainer and consultant in the field of (agile) software delivery, DevOps and software processes. Marc trains and mentors people in both technical skills and way of working, to support IT organizations in becoming true learning organizations that focus on continuous reflection and improvement: apply, inspect, adapt.

He organizes workshops, courses, and conferences on agile software development, extreme programming, systems thinking, lean software development, theory of constraints applied to IT, and personal growth.

His clients include NN Group, RIGD-Loxia (ProRail), Kulicke & Soffa, ZorgDomein, Nedap and others. Marc is co-founder of the Agile Open and XP Days Benelux conferences.

Marc has over 25 years of experience in lean & agile software development, Extreme Programming, Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps, refactoring, test driven development, systems thinking, retrospectives, complex adaptive systems & Cynefin.

He holds an MSc from the University of Twente (cum laude). Marc is based in the Netherlands.

Willem van den Ende

Willem van den Ende brings over 25 years of experience as an XP pioneer, consulting developer, and educator. He is currently building a bootstrapped startup using agentic engineering, having developed numerous AI-driven prototypes over the past year with a focus on achieving higher quality through formal verification, BDD, and property-based testing.

He actively practises and publishes on agentic engineering, including moving from stochastic AI outputs to deterministic, production-ready code and moldable development for AI generated code assessment.

As co-CTO of Capital Match (Singapore), he co-created a marketplace lender from zero to first funded loan in five months with continuous delivery. At the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change, he improved trust between client and supplier through automated testing.

He has coached, trained and developed at Sky TV, Phillips, Sophos, Intel/McAfee, Wehkamp, Kulicke and Soffa, Thermo Fisher Scientific and others.

Willem is a polyglot developer and holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Twente. He also assesses apprenticeship master's students (from a variety of industries and government agencies) in software engineering for the University of Bath. He is UK-based.

Rob Westgeest

With 25+ years in software engineering, coaching, and architecture, Rob helps organisations adopt pragmatic agile and engineering practices (XP, TDD, CI/CD, DDD, hexagonal architecture).

He co-founded Westgeest Consultancy and QWAN and builds hands-on training, remote diagnostic tools, and developer curricula used across finance, healthcare, and logistics clients, including Nationale Nederlanden, ABN AMRO Bank, ZorgDomein, Portbase, and the Dutch Railways.

A frequent speaker and workshop leader, Rob focuses on sustainable, systemic improvements that combine technical craftsmanship with team growth. He's based in the Netherlands and is a technology polyglot.
